We are Family
I am very happy to announce that, my sister, Jessica is engaged to Chad Elliott. I received the happy news on Sunday.
The proposal was Saturday, July 18th -Chad met Jess at the front door and took her into the dining room to a open chair, a table full of red roses and a small red box. After tearfully reading Jess verses from the bible on Love, Chad asked Jess to marry him and she accepted. Their date is set for September 4, 2010.
We wish them a Amazing Wedding Day, Blessed Marriage and a Lifetime of Happiness.
Here's to the future Mr. and Mrs. Chad Elliott!

*** In true Allie style, she stole the show and a few hearts, by saying out of the blue, "Good Bye Uncle Chad", when we were leaving from dinner. ***

Katie bar the door, Allie's FOUR!
It is amazing how fast four years goes by.
Some of Allie's accomplishments in this last year are: she can write her name(Upper and lowercase), count to 30, simple math (1 + 1, which big brother taught her), and ride her bike (with training wheels).
She loves dance class, her blankie and jumping on the trampoline.
She is such a goofball! Some of the things she comes up with have a laughing so hard we cry! Her favorite joke (she came up with) is:
Knock, Knock...Who's there?...A rope...A rope who?...I rope you like knock knock jokes!
Of course she tells you this about ten times in a row!

Yet Another
Donovan swallowed yet another tooth on Sunday. His lower right Lateral Incisor.
He refuses tell us when they are loose and when they are loose to pull them, so he lets them get so loose that they are barely holding on. So he swallowed another one eating Easter Dinner at Busha's house.
That would be number 5 lost, in case you are counting.

Maybe traveling with Hot Dog school lunch
Reward Offered! Contact the Tooth Fairy
Thursday we went grocery shopping and Donovan turned to me and I gasped, "Donovan-where is your tooth?" To which the response was, "What tooth?" He did not even know he lost it. We think he bit into the hot dog at lunch and swallowed it. He wanted to have an x-ray to see where it was! In case you are counting this is tooth #4.

Fishing with My Dad
Two weekends ago Matt took Donovan ice fishing. I am pretty sure this was the third time he had gone. Geneva seems to be the lake of choice this season. He loves to sit on the ice and fish with Matt.
This was the first fish he caught he ever caught ice fising. A "gill" as he told me. Later he told me, "I am only going to catch Perch now." My Grandpa Skurulsky would be proud!

Happy New Year!
Wishing all a Happy 2009 filled with great times with family and wonderful new memories!
Hapoe everyone had a great time New Years Eve. We took the kids to dinner and come home and watched Wall-E. Matt was out about 10 minutes into the movie, Donovan made it to about 10:30, Allie made it to 11:15 and it was me all by my lonesome after that. So, off to bed I went at 11:45. EXCITING!!
